MEET BROTHER GENE!
LEAD PASTOR

Dr. Gene Horton, affectionately known as Brother Gene has been serving the Lord in South Texas for over forty of his fifty year career. When time allows Brother Gene can be seen in the air flying his beloved Eurocoupe praying for those on the ground or enjoying the company of his kitty cats.

Brother Gene is greatly respected by other Pastors in the Rio Grande Valley for his wisdom and devotion for the Lord. Gene is married to the lovely Phynetta Gautier Horton.

MEET VANCE GREEK!
CO-PASTOR

Although a longtime resident of the Rio Grande Valley, Vance Greek spent 1990 to 1997 in Branson, Missouri where he became known as "the Golden Voice of Branson."
After making an album of spiritual songs in college, he and his wife, Donna Horton, traveled America entertaining in churches, auditoriums and campgrounds.They toured overseas in London, Australia and the Philippine Islands. His song, "Baby, I Do, went to number one of the New York Music Review Charts in 1997.

MEET JIM THORNTON!
PASTOR
OUTREACH MINISTRIES

Jim was born and raised in Brownsville. He is married to the love of his life Peggy. Together they minister at a local prison on a regular basis. Jim started his ministry as Assistant Pastor at 1st. Baptist Church in Dallas years ago when it was under the direction of Dr. W. A. Criswell. He also worked with the Billy Graham Crusades service in Dallas in the early seventies. Today he volunteers with the Bill Glass Prison Ministry and also reaches out to the motorcycling community with his motorcycle ministry Misfits In Christ.

The Lighthouse Fellowship Church is located in beautiful Harlingen, Texas. We are a vibrant congregation dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of our surrounding community. Our Church is deeply rooted in God's words, and our doors are open to all in the community seeking a casual, come as you are Church home. We are a caring and praying Church. A Church that welcomes all with a smile and Gods Love!

We Have A Place For You

At The Lighthouse Fellowship Church we have opportunities for those that have a desire to be active within the Church. Some of the activities we have available are in the choir, musicians (musical instrument players, drums, guitars,etc.) prison ministry and audio/video production. There are also opportunities if you ride a motorcycle and have an interest in being part of a motorcycle ministry thru Misfits In Christ that proudly calls our church its home in South Texas.
